The Forgotten Presidents

This post isn't cooked yet, but read it anyway.

Recently I went on a YouTube Rabbit-hole dive of talk show interviews with former First Lady Michelle Obama and Former President Barack Obama. This has nothing to do with my political views of them or their successors Donald and Melania Trump. I have views on the matter, but they have no place here on my blog.

Some of you may recall my previous post on voting, and although I cannot vote in the US election, my political party the Voter Party is also not running in America and the policies are the same.

Given the current lockdown situation, in most cases I would suggest postal voting, but that's up to you (and your local lockdown laws; CHECK THESE)

For Musical Theatre fans (which, let's face it, is probably a significant portion of my readership), the cast of Hamilton have put together a video advocating voting.

I saw this Simpsons clip (I actually saw a longer clip, but that's the only relevant bit), and it made me think, there must be something interesting about them. Therefore, below is a list of every president, when their term was and one interesting thing about them, hopefully something you didn't already know:

1.

George Washington (April 30, 1789 – March 4, 1797)

Survived smallpox, so he was immune but 

2.

John Adams (March 4, 1797 – March 4, 1801)

The first person to hold the role of Vice President and President

3.

Alexander Hamilton Was NOT a president.

Thomas Jefferson (March 4, 1801 – March 4, 1809)

Forgot to have something inspiring as his last words, so his last words involved him asking the date.
