It all started with a Big Bang... 'The Change Constant' and 'The Stockholm Syndrome' TBBT Finale Review

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you haven't yet seen the final double episode of The Big Bang Theory yet, do not read this review. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED E4 had a packed TBBT themed lineup from 7:30-10pm. We kicked things off with Unravelling The Mystery: A Big Bang Farewell, a behind-the-scenes tour of the set with Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki (Penny and Leonard respectively). Unfortunately, I only managed to see half of that so I can't give a full review, although I'm pretty sure I've seen most of it before. So everyone had their own theory about what would happen, including the cast. Months ago, Penny star Kaley Cuoco revealed that what she wanted was for the elevator to finally be fixed . At that point, even she didn't know how the series would end, despite the fact that the finale airdate was less than 2 months later . Someone on Twitter had their own, much darker expansion of that theory ... WARNING: ONLY CLICK THE LINK IF YOU'RE OK WITH

So Deadpool and Tsunekazu Ishihara walk into a bar... Detective Pikachu review

If you don't know who Tsunekazu Ishihara is, that's your problem. I went into this movie expecting a fun comedy that didn't take itself too seriously, and I got exactly what I came for. Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (to use its full name, I keep forgetting when I look it up on IMDb and wondering why it doesn't come up when I type DET) is funny, creative and fairly original, because it takes lots of tropes and characters that already exist and puts them together in new scenarios. WARNING: before you start reading this review, you should know that I am NOT a Pokémon expert, not even slightly. I watched some episodes of the cartoon, which I only just realized was in fact redubbed animé. Even that I only watched sometimes, because it was on CITV and I was more of a CBBC kid. I never played the card game or the video games even though pretty much all my peers were in the late 90's, partly because the cards were banned at my school (and, to the best of my knowledg

It was Miss Scarlet in the Library with the Lead Piping...

As you may have gathered from the title of this post, I spent the last weekend playing board games. Contrary to what the title might suggest, we did NOT play Cluedo (or Clue, as it's known in America), because apparently, Cluedo doesn't work with 2 people. I've thought a great deal into this, and I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't work. My brother was off hosting some awards ceremony for his university (don't ask), so Mum suggested that me and Dad play a board game. Let's rewind about two weeks. Dad has been clearing the loft and has just located Colditz (the board game, not the castle turned PoW camp). The aim of the game is to escape from Colditz within the 3 1/2 weeks allocated for play (includes time spent figuring out the approximately one metric thousand rules). Dad suggested we play because he and his brother used to play it when they were younger. 3 hours later, we realized that there's a reason he hasn't played in

About Me and my blog

If you're new to this blog, you probably want to learn a bit more about me. So here's some basic info about me: I am a wheelchair user, hence the title of this blog I am a Christian and regular churchgoer I enjoy movies I enjoy musicals I live in the UK with my Mum, Dad and brother I work in IT I occasionally dabble in programming and I have made 3 Twitter bots (they can be found at @whoinvented01 , @PhilosophyBot4 and @ceaseanddecease) But you're not here to learn about me, you want to know more about what you can expect from this blog! As the title suggests, I will be posting about my life in a wheelchair, and how that affects my daily life I sometimes have medical procedures take place on me, so I might write about those occasionally. I will try to limit those posts though; because they're not particularly interesting or funny I love movies, and I will be posting reviews of the new movies I see in the cinema I'm also willing to do reviews of old
