Tangents BTS
I'm trying to reclaim that acronym. Back in my day, BTS wasn't a Kpop band; it stood for Behind The Scenes.
So, I thought you might want to see some of the work that goes into making Tangents: The Game, starting with the poster that Deirdre saw in the London Underground waiting room (In case you were wondering, that idea of the London Underground comes from the following clip from A Fish Called Wanda (relevant line at 1:10):
The poster used was this:
You may have noticed that something looks a little off about Frankie. maybe it's the strange green spot next to her neck? The red patterned dress with white outline? The fact that she's got two hairlines? Or maybe you just noticed that her skin colour changes at her neckline.
There's a reason for that. Most of the picture is a royalty free photo I found on Morguefile, but the face is from thispersondoesnotexist.com
I tried to make the difference in skin colour less noticeable by including a necklace (also from Morguefile) to cover the overlap, but it actually made it worse and added a third skin colour.
The woman in the picture was originally wearing a white dress, but I replaced it with a magic eye pattern I created. I resized and reshaped it so much I don't even know if it works any more. The straps were made by copying a small section of the pattern, rotating it so it's at the right angle.
Can you spot the other thing I added? That's right, it's her necklace. I couldn't find any suitable images of a London Underground necklace on the internet, so I replaced the original pendant in the picture with the actual sign from
