This is not a full list; at least one team has decided to not publish their score. Their score will not affect the competitive players (e.g. if they answer first, they will score the maximum 60 points but 60 points will also be available to the first correct competitive player)

The rules: Every weekday morning in December at 11:00 GMT, an emoji based clue for a Christmas movie will be emailed to you. Some are clues to the title and some are clues to the plot.

If you do not receive the clue by 11:05 (allow some time for error), please let me know via xmasmoviequiz@31steps.co.uk. If for some reason you are sent the clue later than everyone else, your timer will be started when you receive the email instead of 11:00.

Reply as soon as you can before the deadline of midnight with the correct answer. The fastest correct reply will score the most points:

The fastest will receive 60 points
The second fastest will receive 50 points 
The third fastest will receive 40 points 
The fourth fastest will receive 30 points 
The fifth fastest will receive 20 points 
The sixth fastest will receive 10 points

Throughout the rest of the quiz, points will not be removed for incorrect answers. I will confirm your correct and incorrect answers as fast as I can, but I will only be updating the scoreboard daily.

The following day, the answer will be revealed and a new clue given.

It's possible that some clues might not be solved in time. If that happens, the answer will not be given and I will explain what happens next on 26 December.

It's November, which means it’s the perfect time of year to start thinking about Christmas Quizzes (For you; I’ve been thinking about them since February). That’s right, it’s signup time once again for the annual Christmas movie quiz! This year, the theme (chosen by last year’s winner Raring to Snow ) is: When you signup, include your guess for what this means. 20 points available if you get it right!  Thanks, everyone, for signing up for the quiz! This year we have more teams than ever before, so competition will be fierce! To remind you all, the theme is Posters, meaning that I will give a brief description of a Christmas Movie poster and you have to guess which movie the poster refers to. In your signup automated reply, you should have received the following clue, worth 50 points: A man in a red cardigan looks at the camera in distress. He is surrounded by children dressed as biblical characters. Most people correctly guessed that this was 2009’s Nativity : This is the only occasion the actual poster will be included; if you want to check the accuracy of my descriptions for later entries, you will have to Google them yourselves.
