The Goes Wrong Show Statistics

As mentioned in my previous blog, Mischief Theatre released a TV show earlier this year, The Goes Wrong Show (TGWS).

Some of you (one of you; I know how many people read this blog) may have noticed that I make it my business to blog about Mischief projects as I see them (for more information see below)

Anyway! Shameless self-promotion aside, this blog is supposed to be about TGWS, which I haven't reviewed properly. I saw a tweet (You will never know how much research I did to find this) recently asking who received the most bumps, to which the official Mischief account replied that it was probably Vanessa.
This intrigued me, and so I set about painstakingly counting every single time she got hit by a prop/setpiece/fellow actor. While I was doing that, I thought I'd check out some other things as well:

Dennis forgets his line                          40
Sandra gives the camera a 'Hollywood Look'       15
Max plays to the camera/audience                 29
Chris gets mad at Dennis                         29
Robert breaks the fourth wall                    36
Jonathan can't get in/out                        13
Trevor is seen                                   24
Set malfunctions                                 15
The set falls apart ?
Someone has the wrong prop                       28
A prop breaks/malfunctions                       34
There is a stunt which is genuinely dangerous    13
Non-family-friendly jokes                                                                            4
Costume Problems                                                                                     26
References to Robert's book Anything You Can Act, I Can Act Louder     5
To clarify:
  • Jonathan not being able to take his prosthetic off in The Pilot (Not The Pilot) was counted, as was him being trapped in the chimney in Spirit of Christmas
  • Dennis' uncensored swearing in 90 Degrees was not counted as him forgetting his lines
  • In the scene in A Trial to Watch where Dennis, Robert and Vanessa were saying each other's lines, each of Dennis' lines was counted separately
  • Each 'half-and-half' set in A Trial to Watch was only counted as one malfunction. The same applies to each of the sets in 90 Degrees
It occurred to me after publishing this post that I hadn't actually answered the question, so I watched the entire series again, just counting bumps/hits, and came up with the following statistics:
Robert                     21
Chris                      18
Vanessa                    17
Dennis                     15
Jonathan                   10
Max                         8
Annie                       8
Sandra                      5
Trevor                      4
Note:
  • When Robert hits the banisters in The Lodge, this was only counted as one hit
  • Vanessa's count includes the times she had water thrown at her in The Lodge
  • Trevor's 'exposure' in Harper's Locket was counted twice (when he fell and when the hook dropped him)
  • Robert tripping in The Spirit of Christmas was not counted because he didn't actually hit anything
WARNING: Shameless self-promotion of previous blog posts below: Magic Goes Wrong (MGW) - Saw 28 December 2019, review here Groan Ups (GU) - Saw in September 2019 (Date unknown), review here I have seen The Play That Goes Wrong twice and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery once as well but as both of these were before I started this blog, I'm unlikely to write about them any time soon

UPDATE: Actually answered the original question and added Set Malfunctions to the list of statistics
