Lost and Found
Ok, bit of a weird one. Recently I was rewatching the Two Ronnies' famous Mastermind sketch:
This reminded me that I've seen another Mastermind sketch in which all the answers were Pass.
Your specialist subject is?
Pass
What is it called in basketball when you give the ball to your teammate?
Pass
What do you do if you don't fail an exam?
Pass
In computer security, what word can come before code, phrase and word?
Pass
Fun fact: that last one actually happened on an episode of The Chase:
However, since seeing it once, I haven't been able to find it again. There are similar sketches, like the one with Russ Abbott (on the legally distinct Masterbrain):
However, I've been unable to track down the original. Therefore, as I have a modest following (read: 2-3 people), I thought I'd ask you if you remember it and what it's from. If you do, please say so in the comments below. I vaguely remember it being Basil Brush, but this hasn't yielded any results.
I'd like this post to be used for finding other clips as well, so if you remember something but don't remember what it's from, comment below and I'll put it in the post itself.
Another clip I can't find is of someone saying "Oh, I don't use toilet paper any more; I use bread." (Everyone looks at him, disgusted) "Oh don't worry, I always put it back afterwards."
For some reason I picture that being Kris Marshall (a character he played, to avoid appearing libellous). Then again, I might be thinking of him in My Family, in which he played a character I don't remember well enough to associate him or not with that sort of behaviour.
I also picture it happening on the set of My Hero, a sitcom starring Ardal O'Hanlon as a superhero which I thought I'd imagined, and another sitcom where Hugh Dennis plays a dentist.
There's a clip from The Big Bang Theory which includes the following dialogue with Howard and Raj discussing Raj's behaviour at (I think) a stag night:
Howard: And then you showed us your cool "Bhangra dancing"-
[Starts bhangra dancing and singing bhangra-style music]
Raj: That's really offensive.
Howard: Yeah! We thought so!
I've seen it as part of a video essay so I know it exists, but I can't find which episode it's from.
If you also remember these clips but not where they come from, feel free to comment below even if just to prove that I didn't imagine it.
And again, if there's a clip that you can't place, tell me and I'll put it in the blogpost so that we can find it between us.
